Advanced Racing Clinic

The 2026 High School Racing Clinic was held October 17th & 18th.

For information about future clinics read more below or reach out to our recruitment chair, Will Styslinger at uwsailingrecruitment@gmail.com with any questions!

If you or your high schooler is interested in learning high level racing tactics from current and past college sailors, then the advanced racing clinic hosted by the Wisconsin Sailing team would be an amazing opportunity. Our clinic weekend is a 2 day event with opportunities to develop sailing skills, race against peers and learn about college sailing.

The first day focuses on developing boat speed and boat handling with college level drills and coaching. Sunday refines racing tactics with a half day of racing drills and a half day scrimmage regatta. You’ll have the chance to grow as a sailor both on and off the water, while we review tactics during our daily chalk-talks.

Signing up for the clinic also gets you a free T-shirt, breakfast & lunch both days and an informational presentation about college sailing and our sailing program at Wisconsin. Additionally, if you are looking at potentially applying to Wisconsin, we offer an optional campus tour led by current members of the Wisconsin Sailing Team.

Follow the Wisconsin Sailing Team on Facebook and Instagram to receive updates about this event. We hope to see you there!
